Consider applying to be a PRSSA officer for the 2009-2010 school year! Below are descriptions of each position. 2008-2009 Officers and Position Descriptions

President – Marie Kadavy

The president is responsible for all duties and activities of the OSU PRSSA Chapter. Responsibilities will include providing direction and guidance for all officers in their duties. Strong leadership skills, dedication and reliability are a must as this person will be taking on the role of primary leader in all PRSSA functions.

Vice President – Germaine Paul

This person will assist the president in the operations of the OSU Chapter of PRSSA. Responsibilities will include directing all philanthropy and fundraising activities. Examples may be forming committees, coordinating meetings and assisting PRSSA officers in their duties. Strong leadership skills, dedication and reliability are a must.

Secretary/Treasurer – Layna Dewell

The position requires working with the PRSSA adviser regarding all financial business of the chapter. As secretary, this person will maintain a written record of the chapter’s meetings and activities, which will include a list of who was present and what was discussed.

Programming Director – Mandy Edmonds

It is the responsibility of the programs director to coordinate all meetings. This includes arranging for speakers, ensuring there will be refreshments for members and securing a location for the meeting to take place. The programs director is also in charge of coordinating social functions including the activities and location.

Promotions Director – Maggie Kierl

This person will be in charge of promoting all activities sponsored by PRSSA. These activities may include and are not limited to chapter meetings, special speakers, social functions, networking opportunities, community service events and workshops.
